GPAT 2022 Exam Day Instructions
On the final examination day of GPAT 2022, every examinee needs to abide by a variety of essential instructions, starting from what to carry and what not, documents to bring, stationery items that are allowed and not allowed to carry, etc. We will be talking about all the general instructions examinee needs to follow on that day. It is important to remember that, due to COVID-19 situations, the conducting authority will announce some different norms and regulations for social distancing and other protective measures in due time. So along with the general instructions, the examinee needs to follow those instructions as well.
- Try to reach the examination centre at least one and half hours before the exam start time. It will save you from last-minute hassles.
- Also, some unwanted situations may occur while going to the examination centre like a traffic jam or trains running late. So, it is always advisable to plan your journey well before examination start time to mitigate any time waste.
- You are not allowed to enter the examination centre till 8.30 a.m.
- Wearing a face-musk is mandatory.
- No electronic, multimedia, or notepad is allowed. Finding such gadgets will make a student disqualified from sitting in the exam.
- Apart from GPAT 2022 admit card, no other non-essential objects or papers are allowed inside the examination hall.
- The invigilator in charge of the examination will declare the time thrice: at the start of the examination, at the halfway mark of the scheduled time, and conclusion of the examination.
GPAT 2022 Exam Day Instructions: Documents to Carry
Let us look at the essential documents you are allowed to carry to the examination hall.
- First and foremost, GPAT 2022 admit card. Without the admit card, no candidate will be allowed to enter the examination hall.
- It would help if you carried the same photograph used in the application form, that too in passport size.
- One original government-approved identity card ( Like Aadhar card, PAN card, Voter ID card, Ration Card, Driving License, etc.)
- If you have claimed PwD relaxation during the application, you need to bring certificate proof.
GPAT 2022 Exam Day Instructions: Things Not To Carry
Apart from the things mentioned above, the examinee is not allowed to bring any other objects to the examination hall.
- No bags or any kind of luggage is not allowed.
- Do not drink or eat inside the examination hall.
- Any electronic, Bluetooth gadget, or any kind of gadget, in general, is prohibited.
- No jewellery, rings, wristwatch, etc. are allowed inside the examination hall.
- You are prohibited from bringing any kind of pen, pencil, paper, or stationery things.
Guidelines To Follow on GPAT 2022 Exam Day
Many other important instructions are given to the candidates below the admit card or even on the official website. However, sometimes we do not read them and then face problems during the actual exam. So, read them here and keep them in mind for your convenience.
- Candidates must be at the Examination Center two hours prior to the examination to complete the necessary paperwork. The registration desk will close 60 minutes prior to the start of the test.
- Suppose an applicant is discovered using unfair or impersonating methods. In that case, his or her examination will be cancelled, the materials will be confiscated, and he or she will be accountable for not taking the test for a certain amount of time as a type of offence or crime.
- The GPAT 2022 admit card is one of the most important papers at the test centre. A candidate who does not have a valid Admit Card will be unable to take the GPAT entrance exam.
- Candidates must maintain complete quiet while attending to their Question Paper. Misbehaviour shall be defined as any dispute, movement, or disruption in the examination room/hall.
- If any candidate is unable to access his / her Admit card, he/she will send an email to gpat.nta2019@gmail.com. The candidates must also notice that no Admit Card will be sent by post.
- Candidates holding prohibited materials, such as Kara, Kirpan, and other similar things, should be at their respective test centres one and a half hours before the gate closes.
- No candidate may leave his or her seat or the examination/hall until the whole period of the examination has passed without specific authorization from the Center Superintendent or the Invigilator in question.
- Based on their roll number, the candidate will be allotted a seat. Candidates should take their seats in the rows that have been allotted to them. Suppose it is discovered that an applicant has altered his or her room or seat. In that case, the individual's examination will be cancelled, and no appeal will be considered.
- Candidates are not allowed to leave the test room until they have handed over their rough sheets to the invigilator on duty.
- If any candidates can not take part for any reason in the scheduled entrance exam, NTA shall not be responsible for re-testing
- The test hall's professional, trained, and skilled Nodal officer and staff will guide and assist them in clearing their doubts and becoming comfortable with the CBT form of exams.
