The Career Development Centre (CDC) at the Indian Institute of Technology Tirupati facilitates industry interactions and supports students throughout the placement and internship process. It coordinates placement activities like inviting companies, organising pre-placement talks, and managing logistics for recruitment events.
The placement process at IIT Tirupati includes these steps:
- CDC sends invitations to companies inviting them for campus recruitment and shares relevant information on roles and schedules.
- Interested recruiters register and submit job notification forms through the CDC portal.
- CDC organises pre-placement talks (PPTs) where students interact with company representatives and learn about job profiles.
- Eligible students upload their resumes via the CDC portal and appear for shortlisting activities (tests/interviews) arranged by the recruiter.
- Shortlisted candidates participate in interviews and further selection stages conducted by the company.
- Finally, selected students receive offer letters coordinated and processed through the CDC.
