Clubs & Associations : There are student societies, clubs and associations on campus. Most of all our campus is Ragging free campus and and anti ragging squad is formed. Many seminars, tech fest and cultural festivals are held in our college. So my college life in SMIT has been very good and pleasant.

Entrance Exams & Admissions : Students should pass his/her 10+2 examination for admission into this college. .For admission in our college he/she has to carry a good ranking in the WBJEE.

Placements & Internships : There are some companies that came to Saroj Mohan Institute of Technology for recruitment like TCS,IBM,TVS,DELL etc.

Fees & Scholarships : Our course fee per annum is ₹70,000. There are some scholarships that are given to the poor but meritorious students. Yeah, loans are available for those students who cannot afford his/her course fee and this is availed from the PNB.

Academics & Faculty : Class timings, projects,exams and assignments all are good and regular. There are so many lab classes as well as theory classes. Teachers teach us carefully and they are a very helpful tool as well. So te overall experience in this college has been really.

College Infrastructure & Hostel Facilities : There are four boys hostels and a girls' hostel and the hostel fee per month is about ₹5000. Meals are available in the college canteen for lunch, dinner and supper. Classrooms, labs, libraries, dinning hall, WiFi and other infrastructure are also in good condition.
