LPU admission 2025 is a multi-step procedure that includes applications, entrance exams, selection rounds, and results announcement. LPU provides over 300 degree and certificate courses at the undergraduate, postgraduate, and doctorate levels, as well as various distant learning courses through the LPU Centre for distance and Online Education. 

Admission to various UG and PG courses like B.Tech, B.Sc, MBA, M.Tech, MA, MSW, etc. are done based on LPUNEST, followed by an interview. Apart from LPUNEST, applicants can also apply for admission based on other national entrance exams, such as NEET, CUET, NATA, CAT/XAT, etc., depending on the course. 

LPU Admission Process 2025

LPU provides applications for undergraduate, postgraduate, doctoral, and diploma programs. Once the LPU eligibility requirements are met, students must take LPU entrance exams such as LPUNEST, JEE Main, CAT, MAT, NMAT, NATA, XAT, CMAT, and so on. The steps to apply for numerous LPU courses are as follows:

Step 1: Entrance Exam

• Applicants must show up for the relevant entrance exam. In the same way that candidates interested in MBA can take the CAT, MAT, NMAT, and so on, candidates interested in B.Tech must take the JEE Main test.
• If applicants do not have valid scores from other national entrance exams for other courses, they can take the university's LPUNEST.
• However, LPUNEST has been eliminated from LPU programs such as B.Sc. [Airlines, Tourism, and Hospitality; etc.], BBA [Tourism and Hospitality, etc.], BTTM, BHMCT, and BHMCT for the upcoming session. Further details are available in the admittance brochure. 

Step 2: Registration on the Website

• Candidates must create a new account on the LPUADMIT admissions site with their contact details, including their phone number and email address.
• Candidates can create a password and login ID.
• Candidates must then use these credentials to log in once more. The email address provided will be used as the portal's login, and the candidate must create a password upon registering.

Step 3: Fill in the application form and Choose your course.

• Applicants can select whatever course they like based on their qualifications and eligibility requirements. 
• Enter the results of the entrance exam, if any. 

Step 4: Apply for a Scholarship

• Applicants must review the admission brochure and determine whether they are eligible to apply for the scholarship. 
• When applying for it, candidates must include the necessary documentation. 

Step 5: LPUNEST

• Applicants with appropriate entrance exam scores must select an LPUNEST slot in their preferred city.
• If the course does not require LPUNEST, this stage will not display for the applicant.
• The results of LPUNEST are accessible within 24 hours. Applicants will then receive information about the admissions process.

Step 6: Shortlisting

• Selected students are subsequently shortlisted based on their LPUNEST results. 
• Those who apply for the scholarship will also be notified of the amount of fees waived, if any. 

Step 7: Online Counselling

• Applicants for a select course will be required to undergo online counselling based on their merit position. 
• During this process, individuals will be assigned topic specializations depending on merit and seat availability. 
• Other courses need applicants to participate in online interviews.

Step 8: Final list and Admission Process

• The final list of candidates will be released, and they are invited to pay the admission fee to secure their seats. 

Documents Required for LPU Admission

When submitting the Lovely Professional University application form, you must include scanned copies of the following documents:

• Passport-size photograph of candidate and parents (Father and Mother)
• Matriculation Certificate (if applicable)
• Eligibility qualification certificate (depending on program) including previous qualifications (Eligibility qualification may be submitted later on in case the final result has not been declared to date
• Gap affidavit (If applicable -Self)
• Aadhaar card of the candidate and parents.
• Category certificate (if applicable, for example, if claiming eligibility relaxation based on category)
• Income affidavit of parents (Self in case of Ph.D.)

Steps to Apply for LPU Admission (Online mode)

The steps to successfully apply for admission to Lovely Professional University are listed below:

• Step 1: Go to the LPU Punjab's official website and apply for LPU admission 2024.
• Step 2: Complete the LPU University registration form, including a valid email address and password.
• Step 3: On the LPU application form, enter the essential information for the requested course.
• Step 4: Attach the relevant documents to your application form.
• Step 5: After completing the application form, submit it.
• Step 6: Pay the application fee and keep a soft copy of the LPUNEST Kit (which differs for girls and boys).
• Step 7: Then complete the LPUNEST application form.
• Step 8: Choose an LPU exam date for the LPUNEST examination.
• Step 9: Submit the LPUNEST form.
• Step 10: Take the LPU exam and see your scores.

How to Apply for LPU Admission? (offline mode)

Offline Mode LPUNEST Kit can be obtained by the applicant from the University Campus or any other prescribed place by paying cash. The LPUNEST Kit application form costs Rs. 1000 (for both boys and girls). Once the applicant has received the LPUNEST Kit, the application form can be submitted by filling the full application form (OMR sheet) after reading all the instructions as specified under the head “Instructions for filling Application Form (OMR sheet)” and sending it to the university in the self-addressed envelope on the following Address: Block 30, Room No 102, Lovely Professional University, Jalandhar Delhi, GT Road, Phagwara, Punjab, India – 144411.
