Tie-Breaking Rule for COMEDK Qualifying Marks 2024
In case of a tie in COMEDK 2024, where two or more candidates obtain the same ranks, the process of breaking the tie will be followed to determine the COMEDK 2024 ranks of such candidates. The Tie-breaking rules have been listed below:
- In case of a tie, candidates with the least number of incorrect answers in the Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics sections will be given a higher rank.
- If the tie persists, then candidates having more aggregate marks in Physics and Mathematics will be given a higher preference.
- If the tie still persists, candidates with more marks in the Mathematics section will be given preference.
- If the tie remains unbroken, the older candidate will be given a higher rank.
