Tie-Breaking Criteria for KIITEE Rank List 2023

Suppose two candidates rank in the same position for the KIITEE rank list 2023; the examination authorities will implement the tie-breaking criteria. The tie-breaking criteria for different courses are as follows:

B.Tech (4 Years)

• The candidate scoring higher marks in mathematics will be considered first.
• If the situation persists, the one with higher marks in physics will be considered.
• An older candidate will be considered if the above two criteria cannot solve the situation. 

B.Arch

• The tie situation will be resolved by considering the performance of candidates in NATA. 

B.Tech (Lateral Entry)

• First, preference will be given to candidates with higher marks in mathematics. 
• In a persisting tie situation, the preference will be given to candidates with higher marks in Basic Electrical Engineering and then by age. (Preference to the older candidate).

B.Sc Nursing

• Priority to the candidate with higher marks in Biology and then Chemistry
• In case of an unresolved tie, preference for the older candidate (by age).

BBA/ BCA/ Bachelor in Design (Fashion/ Textile)/ Bachelor in Film & Television Production/ BA LLB/ BBA LLB/ B.Sc. LLB/ Master of Mass Communication (Integrated)

• The performance of the candidates in mathematical Ability will be given priority.
• Next, candidates scoring more marks in Analytical Ability will be considered if the situation is still the same.
• If the tie situation continues, the candidate with higher marks in English will be preferred.
• Lastly, the candidate older in age will be considered. 

Biotechnology- Dual Degree (B.Tech/M.Tech)(5 years) 

• Priority to the candidate with higher marks in Biology and then Chemistry.
• In case of an unresolved tie, preference for the older candidate (by age). 

MCA / MCA (Lateral Entry)

• First preference to the candidate with higher marks in Computer Awareness, then Mathematics.
• In case of an unresolved tie, preference for the older candidate (by age).

M.Tech

• Priority to candidates older in age.

M.Sc (Applied Microbiology/ Biotechnology)

• Priority to the candidate with higher marks in Biology and then Chemistry.
• In a persisting tie situation, preference for the older candidate (by age).

LLM

• Priority to candidates older in age.

KIITEE Counselling 2023

KIITEE counselling is held for all the candidates who qualify for the exam by scoring the cutoffs. All the candidates whose names are in the KIITEE rank list 2023 can only participate in the counselling session. 

• The candidates can only attend the counselling if they register for the same.
• Further, they need to pay the counselling fee to attend the session. 
• The KIITEE 2023 counselling fee for admissions is Rs. 75,000 (including the counselling registration fees of Rs 10,000).
• Further, the per semester fee is Rs. 1,50,000.
