Placements & Internships : Placements are average but improving every year. Service-based companies visit regularly and provide opportunities for freshers. Students who focus on coding skills, internships, and projects have better chances of getting placed. The college also arranges training sessions and mock interviews to help students prepare. However, high package opportunities are limited, so students should work on their own skills alongside college support.

Entrance Exams & Admissions : I got admission through WBJEE counselling after qualifying the entrance exam. The process included online registration, choice filling, seat allotment and then physical document verification at the college. Eligibility was 10+2 with Physics, Chemistry and Maths. Cut-offs change every year depending on rank and branch demand. Overall the admission process was smooth and transparent.

Fees & Scholarships : The course fee is moderate compared to other private engineering colleges. I am currently studying through the West Bengal Student Credit Card loan, which makes payment manageable. Many students also receive SVMCM scholarship based on merit and family income. The college provides guidance for scholarships and loan documents. Overall the fee structure is manageable with financial support options.

Academics & Faculty : Most faculty members are helpful and approachable, especially in the IT department. They try to explain concepts with practical examples and provide notes before exams which are very useful. Some teachers are highly experienced and guide students for projects and internships. Teaching quality can vary depending on the subject, but overall the faculty is supportive if students are genuinely interested in learning and asking questions.They gave both offline and online materials.

College Infrastructure & Hostel Facilities : The college infrastructure is decent with classrooms, computer labs and a central library for students. Wi-Fi is available in some areas and labs have the basic equipment required for practical work. The campus is clean and maintained. Hostel facilities are available, and many students also stay in nearby PGs which are affordable. Overall the infrastructure is good for academic purposes.

Clubs & Associations : The college has several technical and cultural clubs where students can participate in coding events, workshops, fests and competitions. These clubs help students improve communication skills and teamwork. Seniors and faculty members guide activities regularly. Participation depends on student interest, but overall clubs provide a good platform to learn new skills and stay engaged beyond academics.
