The NIT Agartala fee structure follows the guidelines set by the NIT Council. How to Pay NIT Agartala Fees?
NIT Agartala fee payment is conducted through the institute's official ERP/MIS portal. The standard fee payment process is as follows:
- Visit the Official Fee Payment Portal: Go to https://erp.nita.ac.in or the JoSAA/CSAB portal (for fresh admissions during counselling).
- Login with Credentials: Use your student roll number and date of birth (for existing students) or provisional allotment number (for fresh admissions).
- Select Fee Category: Choose the applicable fee head (semester fee, hostel fee, examination fee, etc.).
- Choose Payment Mode: Online payment via SBI Net Banking, SBI ATM-cum-Debit Card, other bank Debit/Credit cards, or other banks' Net Banking.
- Download Receipt: After successful payment, download and print the payment receipt from the portal. This is your official proof of fee payment.
- Late Fee Rules: A late fee of INR 100 per day is charged after the deadline. Failure to pay by the stipulated date may result in cancellation of registration for that semester.

NIT Agartala Refund Process
NIT Agartalla Step-by-Step refund process is as follows:
- Submit a written application for withdrawal to the Dean (Academic Affairs), NIT Agartala.
- Attach original fee receipts, identity documents, and allotment letter.
- Clear all dues (library, hostel, laboratory) before the refund is processed.
- The Accounts Section will process the refund via NEFT/RTGS to the registered bank account within 30 working days.
- Caution money refund is processed separately, along with the No-Dues Certificate, at the time of final exit from the institute.
