How to Pay NIT Delhi Fees?
NIT Delhi fee payment is an online process it is paid through the institute's ERP system. Follow the steps below for NIT Delhi fee payment.
- Official Portal: Visit the NIT Delhi IMS portal (nitdelhi.ac.in).
- Login: Enter your Student Roll Number and Password.
- Navigate: Go to Academic Info and navigate to the Online Fee Payment option.
- Select Due Fees: Check the box for the current semester fees.
- Payment Method: Pay via Net Banking, Debit/Credit Card, or UPI.
- Receipt: Upon successful transaction, a digital receipt is generated instantly. Download and save this PDF for physical reporting.
- DASA Students: Must pay via SWIFT/NEFT transfer in USD/INR as per specific instructions on the website.
NIT Delhi Fee Refund & Cancellation Policy
NIT Delhi follows the UGC and JoSAA/CSAB guidelines for refunds. As per the guidelines the refund policy is as follows.
- Full Refund (100%): If admission is withdrawn before the formally notified last date of admission (usually close to the start of the session). A processing fee of INR1,000 is deducted.
- Pro-rata Refund: If a student withdraws after the session begins, only the Caution Money (Institute/Hostel/Mess) is refundable.
- No-Refund Stage: Withdrawal after the enrollment process is fully closed results in zero refund of academic fees.
- Process: Submit a formal "Application for Withdrawal of Admission" to the Dean (Academics) with bank details. Refund is processed via NEFT within 30-60 days.
