Swami Vivekanand Group of Institutes was founded in 2014 in the vibrant city of Mohali, Punjab. It is a Private Un-Aided institution. The institute is affiliated with Maharaja Ranjit Singh Punjab Technical University.

Swami Vivekanand Group of Institutes offers 6 courses, namely, BTech, Bachelor of Engineering, BA, BSc, BCom, MTech which aim at the holistic development of the students. Students can gain expertise in their chosen fields with a faculty of experienced and knowledgeable educators.

The college infrastructure boasts state-of-the-art facilities, including Library, Hostel, Sports, Labs, Cafeteria, Gym, Medical, Wi-fi, Auditorium, providing students with a conducive environment for their overall development. The institute campus is spread over an area of 2.5 acres. The hostel facilities are provided for both boys and girls on a single and twin-sharing basis.

Education loan facilities are available at the institute to help students finance their higher education. The college offers education loans covering the cost of education and living expenses to students during the admissions.
